About this fabric

The cloth has an even woven construction, with fine horizontal and vertical threads creating a restrained crosshatched texture rather than a printed motif. Its truffle tone sits between warm taupe, brown and soft charcoal, giving it an earthy depth that reads quieter and more grounded than a clear mid-brown. At 220gsm and 147cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight for upholstery or drapery. With a 0cm vertical and 0cm horizontal pattern repeat, the plain surface requires no motif matching.

How to use it

Pair this warm taupe-brown colourway with natural wood, aged leather and soft cream upholstery for a grounded scheme. Its muted depth also works well as relaxed curtains against pale walls, where the fine weave can add texture without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this muted taupe-brown weave to bring quiet warmth to upholstered seating, cushions or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
