About this fabric

The shade reads as a dark, muted purple with plum and berry undertones rather than a vivid pink-purple. Fine vertical and horizontal yarns form a compact woven grid, while subtle tonal variation catches the light across the surface. With a usable width of 147 cm and a weight of 220 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery or drapery. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, so its understated texture does not require motif matching.

How to use it

Use Petunia on a statement armchair, dining seat or relaxed curtain to bring rich plum colour into a room without the shine of velvet. Balance its smoky purple tone with warm neutrals, aged wood or softly contrasting dusty pinks.

Use this deep petunia-plum shade to add grounded colour and tactile depth to upholstery or softly tailored drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
