Ida Violet

Delta FabricCCF0197-04

Ida Violet pairs a chalky cream ground with cool, muted violet marks arranged in broken vertical bands. The visible weave softens the contrast, giving the abstract pattern a tactile, lightly weathered character.

About this fabric

This 353gsm woven fabric has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, with a softly raised, clearly visible texture across the surface. Irregular violet shapes interrupt the cream ground in vertical fragments, creating a painterly geometric rhythm rather than a sharply defined motif. The pattern repeats every 16.5cm vertically and 16.8cm horizontally, allowing the small-to-medium design to remain legible across a chair or sofa. Its 137cm usable width and 40m standard length provide practical coverage for upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Ida Violet on a compact sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool lavender tone can act as the room’s colour note. Pair it with ivory, pale timber and brushed metal for a calm scheme, or introduce deeper plum accents to draw out the violet marks.

Use the softly textured violet ground on upholstered seating or occasional chairs, balanced with warm creams and natural woods.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
