About this fabric
This 310 gsm textile has a tactile woven appearance, with fine intersecting yarns creating visible flecks of cooler grey through the muted damson shade. The surface is non-directional, with both vertical and horizontal pattern repeats recorded as 0 cm, making the texture easy to place across a project. At 137 cm wide, it is a versatile mid-weight option for upholstery and drapery. The subdued purple-brown tone brings a grounded, quietly sophisticated character without the intensity of a saturated plum.
How to use it
Pair Kelso Damson with warm ivory, mushroom and weathered timber for a softened, tonal room, or use it to deepen a scheme of dusty pinks and greyed mauves. Its mottled weave is particularly effective on a tailored chair, ottoman or relaxed curtain where the damson tone can be seen at close range.
