About this fabric

The closely worked weave combines charcoal, mid-grey and occasional lighter threads in a dry, tactile texture rather than a printed motif. At 310 gsm, this substantial plain cloth is suited to upholstery applications. Its 137 cm usable width and 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats allow straightforward cutting without design matching. The supplied standard length is 40 m, making it practical for coordinated upholstery work.

How to use it

Use Kelso Charcoal on contemporary seating where its cool, deep grey can anchor a room without appearing flat. Balance the textured surface with warm timber, ivory walls or muted stone accessories.

Pair its cool charcoal tone with pale timber, brushed metal or soft neutral upholstery accents.
