About this fabric

The charcoal ground reads cool and muted, while the repeated pale-grey and darker-grey V shapes form a precise, small-scale zigzag. With a 570 gsm weight and 110 threads per cm, this is a dense woven textile with a substantial hand suited to upholstery. The design has no vertical repeat and a 10.3 cm horizontal repeat, so its rhythm remains narrow and consistent across the 136 cm usable width. The low-contrast pattern gives upholstered forms definition without overpowering the deep grey colourway.

How to use it

Use Samburu Charcoal on a sofa, dining chair or occasional chair where its cool grey tone can anchor warmer timber, brushed metal or soft cream accents. Its small, orderly chevron works especially well in tailored rooms that need texture without a bold graphic statement.
