About this fabric
The woven-looking surface is marked by irregular horizontal and vertical flecks, creating a mineral-like pattern rather than a sharply defined motif. Violet and muted plum areas drift across the pale ground, while the lighter threads soften the overall colour and prevent it from reading as flat or overly saturated. At 353 gsm, the fabric has a substantial presence suited to upholstery, with a 137 cm usable width for practical cutting. The design has a 36.8 cm vertical repeat and a 33.8 cm horizontal repeat, measurements to allow for when aligning the mottled pattern across upholstered panels.
How to use it
Use Vesta Violet on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its cool lilac tone can sit against warm ivory, dove grey or pale timber. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the fabric’s irregular violet-and-chalk texture remains the focal point.
