Ida Charcoal

Delta FabricCCF0197-01

Ida Charcoal combines a pale ivory ground with cool charcoal-grey vertical marks that appear softly distressed and irregular across the weave. The contrast is crisp but muted, giving the pattern a quietly graphic, textile-led character.

About this fabric

The design is built from broken vertical forms, with brush-like edges and fine woven striations visible through both the charcoal areas and the lighter ground. Its cool blue-grey charcoal tone reads softer than black, while the ivory background keeps the overall colourway light and balanced. At 353gsm and 137cm usable width, Ida Charcoal is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 16.5cm vertically and 16.8cm horizontally, with a standard length of 40m.

How to use it

Use Ida Charcoal to bring cool, graphic texture to an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme. Pair its blue-grey charcoal marks with ivory, pale stone and weathered timber for a calm, layered room rather than a stark monochrome interior.

A cool charcoal-and-ivory woven design with enough visual texture for upholstery and the versatility of a 137 cm width for drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
