About this fabric
The charcoal background gives this busy botanical design a cool, grounded depth, while red and burgundy trees provide the strongest colour contrast alongside mustard, olive and soft cream foliage. The 62.5cm vertical repeat and 137cm horizontal repeat create a large-scale pattern that needs thoughtful placement on a project. With a 137cm usable width and 222gsm weight, Tatton Charcoal is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to upholstery and drapery. Its standard length is 40m.
How to use it
Use Tatton Charcoal to bring an atmospheric woodland note to a reading chair, upholstered bench or full-length curtain, pairing the charcoal ground with warm timber and muted brass. Echo its burgundy and mustard foliage through cushions or painted accents rather than adding another large pattern.
Use the charcoal ground to anchor the rich red, mustard and cream tree pattern in both upholstery and curtains.
