Rosedene Denim/Spice

Country Escape FabricCCF0609-02

Rosedene Denim/Spice layers dense, painterly florals across a deep denim-teal ground. Creamy flowers and small spice, rust and pale yellow accents give this colourway a weathered, richly varied character.

About this fabric

The design is visibly full and impressionistic, with repeated clusters of small blooms, leafy marks and cream daisy-like flowers rather than a sparse botanical arrangement. Its cool blue-teal base is broken by warm terracotta and spice flecks, creating depth without losing the softened country feel. At 205gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 137cm usable width is paired with a 50.8cm vertical repeat and 34.2cm horizontal repeat, so the floral placement should be considered carefully when cutting larger pieces.

How to use it

Use the denim-teal ground on a relaxed armchair, bench or full-length curtains, then draw out the warmer spice notes with rust cushions, aged wood and creamy painted furniture. The scattered cream blooms also sit comfortably with natural linen and other softened neutrals.

Pair the cool denim-teal ground with warm timber, cream linens and spice-coloured accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
