Rosedene Charcoal/Chartreuse

Country Escape FabricCCF0609-01

Rosedene Charcoal/Chartreuse layers small, loosely painted blooms over a deep charcoal ground, with chartreuse-yellow flowers and pale ivory highlights scattered through the design. Its mottled surface gives the colourway a softly weathered, textural depth rather than a flat, high-contrast finish.

About this fabric

The pattern combines daisy-like ivory flowers, chartreuse blooms and fine pale botanical marks against charcoal, grey and muted olive-black shadows. At 205 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The fabric has a 137 cm usable width and a 40 m standard length. Its vertical repeat is 50.8 cm and its horizontal repeat is 34.2 cm, creating a compact, rhythmically repeated floral field.

How to use it

Pair this cool charcoal colourway with warm oak, aged timber or soft ivory upholstery to draw out the pale flowers, or use it as a controlled botanical accent against chartcoal and olive tones. The chartreuse notes work particularly well as a restrained lift in relaxed country-style rooms.

Use the cool charcoal ground to anchor rooms, with chartreuse and ivory blooms adding a softly weathered lift.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
