About this fabric

The surface combines a light grey ground with delicate, irregular horizontal lines that resemble a subtle brushed or lightly grained texture. At 93 gsm, this is a fine, lightweight cloth best suited to drapery rather than hard-wearing upholstery. Its usable width is 137 cm, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, allowing the understated linear texture to continue evenly across the fabric. The standard length is 40 m, making this a practical choice for larger curtain schemes in a cool, low-contrast palette.

How to use it

Use Sylph Aluminium for full-length curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or layered window treatments in rooms built around pale stone, chalky whites and cool timber. Its restrained grey tone works particularly well where you want texture without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this cool, lightly textured grey for understated curtains or blinds where a soft linear surface adds quiet depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
