Protea Velvet Navy brings a richly illustrated menagerie to a deep, cool navy ground. Spotted big cats, striped tigers and curling foliage appear in vivid turquoise, pale grey and soft blush tones.

About this fabric

The dark navy background gives the design a nocturnal depth, while turquoise leaves and jewel-like botanical details provide sharp contrast. White-spotted cats, striped tigers and smaller illustrated creatures create a large-scale, intricately layered scene across the velvet surface. This velvet weighs 340 gsm and has a 138 cm usable width, making it particularly well suited to statement upholstery. The pattern repeats at 64.4 cm vertically and 69 cm horizontally, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Use the cool navy ground to anchor a feature armchair, headboard or footstool, then pick up the design’s turquoise foliage with plain teal accents and soften the illustrated blush and cream animals with warm neutral walls.

Use this richly illustrated navy velvet on a statement chair, footstool or occasional upholstery, balanced with quieter plain fabrics.
