Sylph Amber

Wilderie Fabric FabricCCF0536-02

Sylph Amber is a warm, burnished amber textile with a quiet plain weave and fine horizontal slubbing visible across the surface. Small lighter flecks and irregular tonal marks keep the ochre ground from appearing flat.

About this fabric

The 93 gsm weight and finely woven appearance make Sylph Amber best suited to light, fluid drapery rather than heavy upholstery. Its 137 cm usable width and 40 m standard length support curtain and blind projects, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeats confirm that the cloth has no set pattern to align. Across the amber-gold ground, delicate crosswise texture, occasional pale threads and subtle darker bands create depth without a printed motif. The warm ochre tone reads softly in the image, with the weave catching light in restrained, uneven glints.

How to use it

Use Sylph Amber to bring a sun-warmed ochre note to full-length curtains, especially alongside chalky neutrals, aged timber or muted brown furnishings. Its unpatterned surface lets the amber tone and fine slub texture provide the room’s gentle visual interest.

Use this warm amber textile for softly filtered curtains or blinds, pairing it with natural timber and quiet neutral upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
