About this fabric

The artwork combines striped, zebra-like creatures, a spotted animal and curling botanical details, all rendered in pale grey, white, turquoise and saturated teal. Against the almost-black navy background, the teal accents read jewel-like while the finely drawn pale markings give the scene an engraved, high-detail character. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 45.7 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat specified. Each standard roll is 10.05 m long and weighs 150 gsm.

How to use it

Use Caspian Navy on a feature wall in a study, dressing room or richly decorated bedroom, where its cool navy depth can balance warm timber, brass and tactile velvet. Pick out the turquoise details with cushions, ceramics or painted joinery rather than introducing another dominant colour.

Use this dramatic navy ground to bring illustrated wildlife and jewel-like teal accents into a richly layered room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
