About this fabric

This 340gsm velvet has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while its dark navy ground gives the design a cool, immersive depth. The visible artwork combines silver-grey and muted blue-grey zebra stripes with a pale giraffe, layered ferns, seed-pod forms and a star-filled sky. Its 89.8cm vertical repeat and 69cm horizontal repeat allow the full illustrated arrangement to read across a larger upholstered surface. With a 138cm usable width and 40m standard length, it is practical for planning coordinated furniture or multiple pieces.

How to use it

Use the cool, inky navy on a feature chair, headboard or sofa where the pale zebra stripes and botanical details can be appreciated at close range. Pair it with charcoal, smoky blue and brushed metal rather than warm rustic tones to preserve the colourway’s nocturnal mood.
