About this fabric

The 340 gsm velvet carries a deep teal ground that gives the illustrated design considerable visual depth, while brighter turquoise birds and cooler blue-green details catch the eye. A hummingbird appears at the left beside the tall cactus, with a vivid owl, copper butterfly and layered botanical forms creating a densely populated scene. The 73.9 cm vertical repeat and 138 cm horizontal repeat support the large-scale composition across the 138 cm usable width. Supplied in a standard 40 m length, this velvet is suited to upholstery where the dramatic teal imagery can be shown across a substantial surface.

How to use it

Use this saturated blue-green colourway on a statement chair, headboard or occasional sofa, allowing the turquoise owl and cactus motifs to remain the focal point. Echo its copper and moss accents in cushions or painted furniture rather than introducing another strong ground colour.
