Boujee Velvet Seafoam

Fabrics Velvet81

Boujee Velvet Seafoam is a dark, cool-toned velvet with a blue-green cast that reads closer to deep teal than pale seafoam. Its subtly brushed face shows fine vertical variation as the light moves across the swatch.

About this fabric

This Dedar velvet has a deep seafoam colourway, shaded with charcoal and blue to create a subdued, sophisticated teal. The close surface appears softly brushed, with delicate vertical nap lines giving the otherwise plain face a sense of movement. Light catches the nap unevenly, shifting the tone between blue-green and near-charcoal. As a velvet textile, it has the substantial, tactile character expected for upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Pair this deep blue-green velvet with warm timber, aged brass or pale stone to balance its cool, shadowed tone. It would give an armchair, sofa or headboard a rich, quietly dramatic finish.

Use this dark, cool-toned velvet to bring depth and a softly luxurious finish to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
