About this fabric

The charcoal-black background gives this colourway a deep, nocturnal character, while silvered ivory animals and softly mottled foliage provide contrast without brightening the design too sharply. Giraffes, zebra, birds and feathery palm forms are picked out with intricate linework, and dusty blush tones appear in the birds, botanical details and braided palm trunks. At 347 gsm and 137 cm usable width, the fabric has a substantial presence suited to upholstery. Its 87.2 cm vertical repeat and 68.5 cm horizontal repeat create a generously scaled composition that rewards careful placement on a statement piece.

How to use it

Use this cool charcoal colourway on a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa in a room with aged brass, dark wood and warm blush accessories. Keep surrounding surfaces relatively quiet so the pale giraffes and zebra remain the focus.
