Caspian Velvet Coral places boldly illustrated wildlife against an intensely warm coral-orange ground. Striped, red-maned cats and a spotted feline are picked out in dark charcoal, cream, rust and muted blue-green detail.

About this fabric

The saturated coral background gives this velvet a fiery, theatrical tone, while the darker animal markings add depth rather than softening the colour. A striped cat with a flowing red mane dominates the centre, accompanied by a spotted feline, botanical sprigs, floral emblems and scattered miniature motifs. With a weight of 340gsm and a 138cm usable width, it is particularly well suited to statement upholstery. The design has a 63.8cm vertical repeat and 69cm horizontal repeat, supplied in a standard 40m length.

How to use it

Use Caspian Velvet Coral on a feature armchair, ottoman or occasional sofa where its vivid warm coral can lead the scheme. Balance the saturated ground with charcoal, tobacco, aged brass and deep green accents to echo the illustrated foliage and animal markings.

Use this richly illustrated coral velvet to bring theatrical colour and maximalist character to statement upholstery.
