About this fabric

The central gorilla is rendered in detailed silver, grey and black, with its exposed ribcage creating a bold focal point within the repeat. Around it, saturated teal leaves, turquoise fronds and acid-lime botanical shapes stand out crisply against the charcoal background, while the copper-toned basket and pale geometric forms add warmth. This wallpaper has a usable width of 52 cm, a 32 cm vertical pattern repeat and a standard length of 10.05 m. At 150 gsm, it is a substantial wallpaper specification for carrying this intricate, large-scale illustrated scene across a wall.

How to use it

Use Silverback Charcoal on a feature wall or in a richly layered study, snug or entertaining space, pairing its cool charcoal and teal tones with dark timber, aged brass and touches of copper. Echo the lime-green foliage sparingly in cushions, ceramics or painted joinery so the illustrated gorilla remains the focus.

Use this dramatic charcoal ground to frame jewel-toned furnishings, brass accents and layered botanical interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
