Protea Linen Gold

Wilderie Fabric FabricCCF0521-01

Protea Linen Gold has a warm cream ground filled with illustrated tigers, a spotted leopard, birds and curling botanical stems. Gold and olive accents give the densely drawn scene a mellow, earthy depth, while charcoal and black markings sharpen the detail.

About this fabric

This substantial 347 gsm fabric has a 137 cm usable width and a large pattern repeat measuring 64.4 cm vertically by 68.5 cm horizontally. The design combines softly golden tigers and animal forms with olive leaves, mustard pods and dark charcoal outlines across the cream background. Fine drawn marks, stripes and spots create a layered surface, with the warm ground allowing the darker motifs to stand out clearly. A 40 m standard length is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Protea Linen Gold on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its warm cream-and-gold palette can be balanced with olive paint, dark wood and natural woven textures. Position larger upholstered pieces carefully to showcase the tiger and leopard motifs within the 64.4 cm by 68.5 cm repeat.

A richly illustrated warm-toned design for statement upholstery, with olive foliage and dark animal markings adding depth.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Protea Linen Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
