Cetara Charcoal

Cetara Fabric FabricCCF0698-03

Cetara Charcoal is a deep, cool charcoal-grey textile with a broken crosshatch weave. Pale flecks and uneven yarn density catch the light across the surface, giving the dark colour quiet depth.

About this fabric

The close, irregular weave reads as layered charcoal, black and pale grey threads rather than a printed motif. Fine horizontal and vertical slubs create a tactile surface, while scattered lighter yarns stop the dark ground from looking flat. At 310 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it is a substantial mid-weight option for upholstery or drapery. The 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeats suit applications where a continuous, non-patterned surface is useful; the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use this cool charcoal colourway on a tailored chair, sofa or full-length curtain where its pale woven flecks can soften a near-black scheme. Balance the dark, textured surface with warm oak, pale stone or softly contrasting grey.

Its cool charcoal ground pairs neatly with pale stone, blackened timber and brushed metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
