Croft Charcoal

Country Escape FabricCCF0590-01

Croft Charcoal gives the Country Escape design a cool, misted character, with pale branching stems picked out across a charcoal-grey ground. Its dense botanical repeat feels softly textural and restrained rather than high-contrast.

About this fabric

Fine, leaf-covered branches form a repeating woodland pattern in pale grey against the deeper charcoal base, creating a subdued tonal effect. The woven surface appears softly tactile, with the lighter stems catching the eye without looking glossy or stark. At 201 gsm and 140 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeat measures 66 cm vertically by 35 cm horizontally, allowing the branching structure to be planned clearly across a finished piece.

How to use it

Pair Croft Charcoal with chalky whites, weathered timber and cool stone tones for a calm, layered room. Its muted grey depth also works well on a reading chair, relaxed blind or softly tailored curtains where the pale foliage can remain visible.

Use this cool charcoal-grey botanical weave to bring quiet pattern and soft contrast to upholstery or window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Croft Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
