Foxbury Charcoal

Country Escape FabricCCF0591-01

Foxbury Charcoal pairs a warm cream woven ground with neat rows of small charcoal running foxes. The contrast is gentle rather than stark, giving the colourway a quietly rustic, easy-going character.

About this fabric

The lightly flecked surface gives the cream background a tactile, natural appearance, while the small charcoal animal motifs remain clearly defined across the cloth. At 222 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. It has a usable width of 137 cm and a standard length of 40 m. The pattern repeats every 10.5 cm vertically and 17 cm horizontally, creating an evenly spaced all-over design.

How to use it

Use the warm cream ground to soften a relaxed sitting room, then repeat the charcoal tone in painted wood, ironwork or piping. Its small-scale fox pattern works well on occasional chairs, cushions and informal curtains without overwhelming the room.

A softly rustic mid-weight with a warm cream ground and repeating charcoal foxes, suited to relaxed upholstery, cushions and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Foxbury Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
