Feather Cream

Country Garden FabricCCF0262-01

Feather Cream brings a light, airy feel to the Country Garden collection, with scattered illustrated feathers floating across a soft cream ground. Blush, blue, ochre, sage and mauve accents give the pattern gentle colour without losing its quiet character.

About this fabric

The feather motifs vary from slim, softly brushed plumes to fuller forms in muted blue, dusty pink, warm ochre, grey-green and plum. Against the creamy background, the colours read as softened watercolour shades, creating a relaxed rather than high-contrast effect. This fabric has a 137 cm usable width and a 222 gsm weight, making it a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 34 cm vertical repeat and a 68.5 cm horizontal repeat, supplied in a standard 40 m length.

How to use it

Use Feather Cream on a bedroom blind, occasional chair or relaxed curtain, pairing its warm cream base with natural oak, chalky painted furniture and small touches of dusty blue or blush. Its scattered feather pattern also works well where you want colour detail without a dense overall print.

Use this gentle cream ground with pale timber, washed linen and muted blue or blush accents for a calm country scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Feather Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
