About this fabric
The design alternates fine charcoal lines with wider pale stone-grey stripes, creating a measured vertical rhythm across the 140 cm usable width. At 177 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 11.5 cm horizontal repeat sets the stripe spacing, while the 0 cm vertical repeat keeps the pattern continuous from top to bottom. Supplied in a standard 40 m length, the cloth has a restrained, cool-toned depth that reads more quietly than a stark black-and-white stripe.
How to use it
Use Mappleton Charcoal on relaxed upholstery or full-length curtains where its cool grey stripes can sit against warm oak, putty walls and soft cream textiles. The fine charcoal lines also suit a smart, tailored scheme without making the room feel overly formal.
