About this fabric

The fabric shows broad vertical bands of warm taupe, soft ivory and dusty spice, with fine horizontal slub lines that give the surface a lightly tactile finish. The spice band reads as a subdued terracotta-rose, while the pale centre stripe lifts the overall colourway and keeps it balanced. At 177 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 140 cm usable width and 34.5 cm horizontal repeat provide practical information for planning striped cushions, panels or larger upholstered pieces; the vertical repeat is 0 cm.

How to use it

Use the taupe and ivory bands to soften a neutral room, then echo the dusty spice stripe in cushions, painted joinery or a warm-toned rug. The muted contrast works particularly well where a room needs colour with a gently weathered, rather than vivid, character.

A versatile woven stripe whose taupe, ivory and dusty spice bands bring gentle warmth to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
