Rainforest Glade Velvet

Amazonia FabricCCF0574-01

Rainforest Glade Velvet layers saturated teal foliage, olive leaves and blue-green fronds across a pale cream ground. The watercolour-like botanical arrangement gives this colourway a cool, lively depth rather than a single flat green.

About this fabric

The printed design combines pointed palm-like fronds, rounded leaves and broad tropical foliage in teal, turquoise, olive and muted green, with fine dark stems defining each cluster. As a 285 gsm velvet, it has the visual weight suited to upholstered furniture, while the richly varied leaves give chairs, headboards or cushions a more decorative finish. The fabric has a 136 cm usable width and a 62.5 cm vertical by 68 cm horizontal pattern repeat, so the botanical layout should be considered carefully when cutting larger upholstered pieces. Its pale background keeps the strong teal and olive tones fresh, allowing the cooler colourway to sit comfortably with cream, timber and other natural finishes.

How to use it

Use Rainforest Glade on a statement armchair, footstool or window seat, pairing its cool teal and blue-green foliage with cream upholstery details and warm olive or natural wood accents.

Use this lively teal-and-olive botanical velvet to bring a cool, leafy accent to upholstered seating against pale or natural interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
