About this fabric

This 285gsm velvet is filled with overlapping banana-like leaves, slender fronds, spotted turquoise foliage and pointed tropical flowers, giving the pattern a lively medium-scale rhythm. Against the dark teal background, magenta and coral blooms appear especially bright, while cream, olive and lime leaves add warm contrast. The 62.5cm vertical repeat and 68cm horizontal repeat define a substantial pattern that needs thoughtful matching across upholstered panels. With a 136cm usable width and 30m standard length, it is well suited to coordinated upholstery projects where the colourful motif can be shown across a larger surface.

How to use it

Pair the deep teal ground with natural wood, warm cream and rattan for a lively botanical scheme, or use the pink and coral accents to select small cushions and painted details. On an occasional chair or headboard, the velvet texture will give this saturated colourway extra visual depth.
