Buckton Charcoal

Bempton FabricCCF0377-03

Buckton Charcoal has a quietly graphic appearance, with charcoal, taupe and pale ivory sections arranged in broad vertical bands. Fine woven cross-lines and subtle slub-like marks soften the contrast and give the darker shade depth.

About this fabric

This 177gsm fabric combines a charcoal-grey section with muted taupe and ivory bands, creating a cool, restrained tonal progression across the width. The visible weave is finely textured, with delicate horizontal irregularities that catch the light without forming a raised pattern. It has a useable width of 140cm and a standard length of 40m. The specification gives a 34.5cm horizontal pattern repeat and no vertical repeat, making the design a horizontally repeating woven stripe arrangement.

How to use it

Use Buckton Charcoal where the room needs definition without a stark black accent: it suits tailored seating, Roman blinds or full-length curtains alongside warm ivory, stone and aged timber. The charcoal band can anchor lighter upholstery while the taupe and pale sections keep the overall scheme balanced.

The charcoal ground and softly contrasting vertical bands bring tailored depth to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
