About this fabric

Bempton Red is a fine vertical stripe woven in a warm, muted red and ivory, with narrow red lines broken by pale yarns across the face. The close weave gives this 177 gsm cloth a neat, lightly textured surface rather than a pronounced motif. Its 140 cm usable width provides a generous continuous field for upholstery or drapery applications. With a 0 cm vertical repeat and a 0.5 cm horizontal repeat, the stripe is straightforward to align and plan across a project.

How to use it

Use the warm red-and-ivory balance to bring gentle colour to a tailored chair, roman blind or curtain, pairing it with ivory textiles to emphasise the pale woven lines. The fine stripe can also add quiet vertical definition to a larger upholstered piece without introducing a bold repeat.
