Shibori Chilli/Linen

Spirit Fabrics FabricSCF0017-01

Shibori Chilli/Linen sets warm chilli-red, spindle-like motifs into a pale linen-toned ground. The repeated forms create a clear vertical grid, while softly irregular edges keep the pattern tactile rather than stark.

About this fabric

This 262gsm fabric has a versatile mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery, with a 137cm usable width. The chilli shade reads warm and earthy against the light linen background, giving the geometric pattern more depth than a flat primary red. Each elongated motif sits between fine vertical lines, with a softly feathered appearance visible across the surface. Its pattern repeat measures 64cm vertically by 27.4cm horizontally, producing a regular rhythm across larger pieces.

How to use it

Use the warm chilli-red colourway on a statement chair, bench or relaxed curtain, then echo its earthy warmth with rust, terracotta and natural linen. Pale timber and chalky neutrals will keep the strong grid feeling light.

Pair the warm chilli-red geometry with linen, oat and natural wood tones for a balanced, quietly graphic scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
