About this fabric

The design is made up of closely spaced turquoise and softer blue lines, each with a subtly wavering edge rather than a rigid drawn stripe. Against the near-white ground, the kingfisher tone feels fresh and clear, while the fine texture gives the colour a softly broken, dimensional appearance. At 95 gsm, this is a lightweight fabric best suited to drapery, with a generous 297 cm usable width for long drops. The pattern has a 0 cm vertical repeat and a 5 cm horizontal repeat, keeping the stripe rhythm continuous across the width; the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Alexis Kingfisher for full-height curtains in a bright bedroom, coastal sitting room or contemporary scheme where its cool turquoise lines can echo glass, painted timber or pale blue upholstery. The pale ground keeps the overall effect airy while the vertical stripe adds gentle height.
