Maculo Graphite

Purus FabricCCF0506-07

Maculo Graphite is a deep charcoal-grey woven textile with a softly mottled surface. Fine silver-grey flecks and a subtle vertical grain keep the dark colour from reading as flat.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a near-black graphite ground enlivened by closely packed grey and pale fibres, creating a textured, salt-and-pepper appearance. Its faint vertical striation gives the surface a directional quality, while the irregular flecking adds restrained depth rather than a defined motif. At 247 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeat is 0 cm vertically and horizontally, so the surface can be positioned without matching a design.

How to use it

Pair this cool, deep graphite with pale stone, crisp white or smoky grey for a layered monochrome room. Its low-contrast texture is especially effective on clean-lined seating, full-length curtains or cushions where the weave can catch the light.

Use this deep graphite weave to bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains or layered monochrome schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
