About this fabric

The colour reads as a deep, cool graphite, with lighter grey threads catching across the surface to give the dark ground quiet depth. Fine diagonal bands create repeated zigzag movement, while the compact 9.5 cm vertical by 11.5 cm horizontal repeat keeps the pattern controlled. At 624 gsm and 90 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial, closely woven presence suited to upholstery. Its 140 cm usable width allows the geometric texture to be considered across larger upholstered areas.

How to use it

Use Meika Graphite on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its cool charcoal tone can anchor a room without appearing flat. Pair it with pale stone, brushed metal and crisp grey-blue accents to draw out the lighter threads in the weave.

The deep graphite tone and finely scaled chevron weave bring a tailored, architectural finish to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
