About this fabric

The design is filled with curling sage stems, small leafy sprigs and lily-like blooms picked out in blue-grey, cream and restrained blush, giving the colourway a cool, softened look rather than a bright floral effect. At 490 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with a 130 cm usable width for practical cutting. The pattern repeats every 26.8 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, allowing the scrolling foliage to build a continuous, evenly detailed surface across a chair, headboard or bench. The pale background keeps the dense floral drawing light and airy while the sage tracery supplies its definition.

How to use it

Use the blush ground on a compact armchair, dining seat or headboard, pairing it with warm ivory, chalky sage and washed blue-grey accents. The muted palette works particularly well where a traditional floral is wanted without a strong or saturated colour statement.

Use the soft blush ground and muted sage foliage to bring a gentle, heritage floral note to upholstered seating.
