Cabris Havane

Cabris II FabricM4018-39

Cabris Havane reads as a softly heathered, warm earth tone with a dry linen texture visible across the weave. The colour sits between taupe and terracotta, giving the cloth a grounded, sun-warmed character.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Cabris Havane has the crisp, natural handle and lightly slubbed surface you can see in the close weave. The repeat is stated as V 0cm / H 0cm approx, which suits the understated, plain appearance of the cloth. At approximately 132cm wide, it offers a practical scale for both loose covers and window treatments. The Havane colourway is a muted brown-terracotta with a soft beige cast, so it feels warmer and less red than a classic rust, and more relaxed than a polished tan.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want warmth without heaviness: on a sofa, armchair, or bench, it will add a mellow, tailored note. It also works well at the window, where the earthy tone will soften daylight and pair easily with oak, plaster, and aged brass.

A warm, earthy linen that brings quiet depth to tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
