Montebello Rouille

Beaumont FabricM4046-03

Montebello Rouille brings a sun-warmed palm pattern to a creamy ground, with layered leaves in rouille, peach and tan. The design reads as lively but softened, with an elegant vintage feel rather than a hard tropical one.

About this fabric

This Beaumont fabric by Manuel Canovas is composed of 77% Cotton and 23% Viscose, with an approximate width of 140cm and a large repeat of V 76cm / H 70cm. The swatch shows a palm- and leaf-led pattern in warm rouille, peach and toasted beige tones over a pale cream base. The print has a gently faded, matte character that lets the darker leaf outlines and stem details sit clearly without looking harsh. Its mid-scale repeat and relaxed drape-friendly handle make it suitable for both upholstery and curtains where a decorative statement is wanted.

How to use it

Pair this rouille colourway with natural woods, straw tones and plain ivory fabrics to keep the room feeling bright. It also works well against deep green or bronze accents, which pick up the botanical warmth in the design.

Use with linen, rattan or washed oak for a warm, tailored tropical look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
