About this fabric

This Ella colourway from Manuel Canovas is woven in a 40% cotton, 40% viscose and 20% linen blend, with a width of approximately 134cm and a straight repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm. The surface reads as a fine, linen-blend plain with a gentle dry texture rather than a glossy finish, so the paon shade appears subdued and slightly smoky. Its blue-green tone has enough saturation to feel distinctive, but the weave keeps it restrained and versatile. The lack of repeat makes it especially easy to use across larger upholstered pieces or uninterrupted curtain drops.

How to use it

Use Ella Paon to bring cool colour to oak, walnut or pale painted joinery, where its muted teal will read sophisticated rather than bright. It works well in schemes that need a calm accent with enough depth to sit beside neutrals, brass and stone.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
