Manuel Canovas

Iris Mousse

Iris FabricM4084-27

Iris Mousse reads as a quiet mossy olive with a gently striated surface and a soft matte finish. The colour feels earthy and composed, with subtle tonal variation that gives the cloth depth without pattern.

About this fabric

This Iris fabric from Manuel Canovas is woven in 80% cotton and 20% polyester, with an approximate width of 138cm and no visible repeat. The swatch shows a fine horizontal rib and a smooth, low-sheen handle, which helps the muted olive-green colour sit evenly across the surface. Its tone is warm rather than sharp, with a slightly weathered, mousse-like depth that softens the green into an easy neutral. With no pattern repeat to interrupt it, the texture itself becomes the feature, making it useful where a calm, tailored look is wanted. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use this olive shade on a clean-lined armchair or banquette if you want colour that feels grounded but not heavy. It also works well for relaxed drapery where the fine striation can catch light softly against wood, linen or aged brass.

A muted olive tone that suits tailored upholstery or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
