Mia Anthracite

Mia FabricM4083-04

Mia Anthracite is a deep, moody grey linen with a finely textured plain weave and a quietly tailored look. The surface reads matte and close-knit, with just enough slub to keep the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This colourway sits firmly in anthracite territory: a cool, dark grey with softened charcoal undertones and a dry, natural linen hand. The weave is very fine and even, with the slight irregularity you expect from 100% linen, giving the fabric a restrained, tactile finish rather than a polished sheen. With a width of approximately 140cm and a vertical/horizontal repeat of 0cm, it is straightforward to cut and use on clean-lined upholstery projects. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code make it a practical specification-led choice for interiors where appearance and function both matter.

How to use it

Use this shade on contemporary sofas, dining chairs or headboards where the dark grey can sharpen lighter woods, plaster tones or pale neutrals. It also works well as a grounding fabric beside stone, black metal and muted olive accents.

A dark, pared-back linen that brings quiet structure to contemporary seating and tailored interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
