About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Oscar Ardoise has the crisp, natural handle and lightly granular texture you expect from a refined plain cloth. The swatch shows a deep charcoal tone with subtle graphite undertones, giving the surface a dry, mineral look rather than a flat black finish. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx and a width of 142cm approx, it offers an uncomplicated, versatile cloth for schemes that need depth without pattern. The smart, understated appearance makes it easy to place in both contemporary and classic interiors, while the C 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code add practical specification detail.

How to use it

Use Oscar Ardoise on a tailored sofa, slipper chair or bench to introduce a strong neutral anchor. Its cool charcoal tone also works well as drapery where you want the windows to recede rather than dominate.

A refined dark neutral that works cleanly on upholstery or soft drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
