Oscar Carmin
Oscar FabricM4112-11
Oscar Carmin is a rich, saturated red linen with a tightly woven, matte surface and a clean plain appearance. Its colour reads bold and even, with a slightly warm carmine depth rather than a bright primary red.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen, Oscar Carmin has a natural texture that shows through in the fine cloth surface and gives the colour a dry, tactile finish. The fabric is approximately 142cm wide and has no visible repeat, which suits its uninterrupted plain look. In this colourway, the red is full and assertive, with a deep carmine tone that feels more refined than flashy. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Oscar Carmin to add a crisp colour accent on occasional seating, cushions, or statement drapery where its red tone can stand out against plaster, stone, or dark timber. It works especially well in rooms that need a warmer, more dramatic note without introducing pattern.
A vivid linen plain that brings sharp colour and a tailored feel to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with
Oscar Carmin is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
