Wintertree Vanilla

Nova FabricL9486-02

Wintertree Vanilla is a pale, luminous sheer with a delicate tree-branch pattern floating across a vanilla ground. The overall effect is airy and softly tonal, with the motif only just more visible than the background.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as warm ivory with a gentle vanilla cast, rather than a stark white, so the branch pattern appears softly etched instead of high-contrast. The sheer surface has a light, fluid drape that suits its large-scale vertical repeat of approximately V 147cm and H 143cm. Woven in 70% viscose, 23% polyester and 7% linen, it has the smooth, slightly natural handle you would expect from a mixed-fibre drapery cloth. The extra-wide width of approximately 298cm makes it especially practical for wide windows and seamless full-height curtains.

How to use it

Pair this soft cream tone with blonde woods, chalky paint finishes and pale linen upholstery for a calm, layered scheme. It is especially effective in rooms that need light diffusion without losing a sense of pattern.

Use for airy curtains where the pale vanilla ground and branch motif can glow softly in daylight.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wintertree Vanilla without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
