About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk, Lawson Mother of Pearl has a delicate, lightly slubbed surface that reads as refined rather than glossy. The colour is a warm pearl cream with a faint beige undertone, and the tiny flecks in the weave add movement without breaking the calm overall appearance. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx and a width of 142cm approx, it presents as a clean, continuous plain ideal for elegant interiors. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z should be noted when specifying, especially for bespoke upholstery or drapery projects. The finish is luxurious but understated, suited to schemes that need a soft light-reflecting neutral.

How to use it

Use this pearl cream silk to soften formal seating, lined curtains, or a quiet decorative cushion scheme. It sits especially well with pale woods, chalky paint shades, and brass or antique gold details.

A quietly lustrous cream silk that works beautifully when you want softness without losing refinement.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
