About this fabric

Balm is shown as a warm oatmeal beige, with cream and slightly deeper taupe fibres threaded through the surface. Its Wool Loop construction is visible in the compact, raised loops and narrow, irregular vertical channels. The close-up reveals a softly nubby texture rather than a flat, printed pattern, while the restrained tonal variation gives the beige shade gentle depth. Supplied as a Carpet in the Wool Loop category, it has no performance features noted.

How to use it

Use Balm where a warm, quiet neutral is needed: its oatmeal tone and subtle vertical texture will sit comfortably alongside natural timber, linen and soft cream upholstery.

A warm oatmeal tone with softly ridged texture for calm, understated interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
