Pembroke Carpet

Chervil has a quiet grey-green taupe tone, seen here as a close, softly mottled surface rather than a patterned design. Its fine texture gives the colour gentle depth without strong contrast.

About this fabric

Chervil is a Wool Twist from Cormar’s Pembroke collection. The swatch shows a muted, slightly olive grey-green shade with tiny tonal flecks distributed across the surface. Its short, grainy texture catches the light subtly, creating a soft variation between cooler grey notes and warmer taupe fibres. As a carpet specification, it offers a dense, understated textile character that reads relaxed rather than decorative.

How to use it

Use Chervil to bring a subdued botanical note to a room, pairing its grey-green taupe tone with chalky creams, weathered timber and warm neutral upholstery. The low-contrast surface works especially well where a calm, lightly textured finish is preferred over a pronounced pattern.

A softly earthy grey-green taupe with fine woolly texture, suited to calm, tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
