About this fabric
The close texture has a dense, tactile look, with tiny tonal flecks creating depth across the otherwise plain surface. Storm Cloud is catalogued as a Wool Twist carpet in Cormar’s Pembroke collection. There is no visible motif or directional pattern, allowing the warm grey-brown tone to remain the focus. Compared with a cooler blue grey, this colourway reads more grounded and quietly substantial.
How to use it
Use Storm Cloud where a neutral needs more warmth than charcoal or blue grey, pairing its mushroom taupe depth with natural timber, soft cream and muted stone tones. Its restrained flecked texture also works well as a calm foundation for layered upholstery.
