About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille has a close, tactile weave with fine vertical striations visible across the surface. Its warm stone-taupe ground is lifted by peppered lighter fibres, creating a softly mottled appearance that changes subtly as the pile catches the light. At 138cm wide, it is graded for Contract and Domestic upholstery. Aftercare is machine washable; flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-grey on sofas, dining chairs or ottomans in rooms built around stone, timber and softened neutral shades. The lightly flecked chenille texture helps plain upholstery feel considered without introducing a strong pattern.

Use the softly heathered taupe on tailored seating, where its nubby chenille texture adds quiet depth to neutral schemes.
